So, with that said, let’s see the process of getting it done.

How to make this lip-smacking dish?

To begin with the process, slit the chicken. Now, in bowl, take 2 tablespoons of curd, salt according to taste, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and mix it all nicely.

Next, add the pieces of chicken to the bowl, then start mixing it with the marination. Cover the bowl and leave it as it is for half an hour to nicely marinate with the mixture.

Now, take a pan and start heating. Add 2 teaspoon coriander seeds, 2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 2 teaspoon black pepper, 5-6 dried red chilies, 2 teaspoons fennel, ½ teaspoon fenugreek seeds, and 4-5 cloves to cook it.

Cool it down for some time and then put it all in the grinder along with 6 cloves garlic, 1 inch of ginger, tamarind juice and finally grind it.

You can also add some water to it after grinding to make a nice paste.

Once it is done, take a pan and pour 2 teaspoon of ghee in it and heat it. Add 3 medium size sliced onions and stir it with the ghee. After the onions start turning yellowish or golden, add the marinated chicken to the pan, then add the grinded masala to the pan along with 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri red chilli powder.

Mix it all and continue to fry everything until the chicken is finely cooked. Add ¼ cup water to it, cover the lid of the pan and leave it for cooking until it becomes soft and dry.

After a while, sprinkle some curry leaves to it while cooking. Mix the same with the chicken and that’s it!

You can serve this chicken recipe as a starter dish, or you can make it like an accompaniment to rice.

Happy Cooking!
