Nachos are a nice choice for appetizer, but that doesn’t mean that you cannot have it as a complete meal. One of the coolest things about nachos is that it doesn’t demand too much of cooking skills from you.

Moreover, the ingredients are pretty flexible in nature, you can use most of the things just as you like and skip anything that you don’t want to include. In this dish, you can also make use of the leftovers of the day.

The reason why I said that this dish doesn’t demand much of your cooking skills, is because getting the right amount or quantity of ingredients is not a thing to stress on when it comes to preparing this dish.

Some people love to have it as evening snack, some people like to have it while watching a cricket or football match. Different ways of eating, but one favorite dish – Cheese Nachos.

Let’s get into the steps to prepare cheese nachos.

Take a big bowl and add 1½ maize flour, ¾ cup all-purpose flour, 1¼ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon black pepper and mix it all nicely. Next add 2 tablespoons oil to the mixture and knead it, don’t forget to add water at regular intervals and prepare a dough.

Now, leave the dough for ten minutes. After that, using a rolling pin and board, roll the small piece from the dough and make it round shaped. Remember that you don’t have to make it too thin!

After rolling it round on the board, cut it in several pieces using a pizza cutter or knife. Also, make tiny holes in the nachos so that they don’t puff up.

Now, finally put the pieces of dough or the nachos in pot having heated oil and fry the nachos for some time.

Flip the nachos while frying it in oil so that both the sides are fried properly.

And that’s it!

You can have these nachos with salsas like tomato salsa, mango salsa and many others.

Happy Cooking!
