It’s comprehensible if you are a beginner in cooking and don’t want to try this recipe at this stage, but you can surely make it under the guidance of any experienced person in your family.
In the end, it is just about cooking, it’s not rocket-science.
So yeah, now let’s go for the recipe of our favorite Paneer Makhani.
What’s in the process?
Take a bowl and put the paneer cubes in it, add 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder and mix it all nicely. Now, in a wok, pour 2 tablespoon oil and then put the paneer cubes in it.
You will have to fry it for a while, but during this process make sure that the cubes are not turning brown. Now remove the paneer cubes from the wok and place them on a plate or anything that is available.
In the wok, put 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon cumin seeds, Bay leaf, Black cardamom, clove and cardamom, black pepper seeds and mix it all as you cook it for a while. After some time, add some chopped ginger and garlic to it and mix it.
Next, put 2 medium size diced onions, 2 large (diced) tomatoes and some cashew nuts in the wok with the rest of the things and again mix it. Let it cook for a few minutes. Don’t forget to remove the bay leaf after the thing is cooked.
Now, put everything from this wok to a grinding jar and grind it nicely until it becomes a thick gravy. Keep the gravy in strainer, add some water to sieve it properly.
Next, in a wok, add 1 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon butter, 2 teaspoon red chili powder and pour the gravy in the wok to mix it all. Add 1 cup cream and 1 teaspoon honey to it. Finally, sprinkle some kasoori methi and in the end add the paneer cubes to the gravy in the wok. Close the lid and let it cook for some time and you’re done!
You can top it with some cream while serving and also you can have it with any of the other main course including rice and Indian breads like – naan and kulcha.
Happy Cooking!
