Make Restaurant style Paneer Tikka at home

Paneer tikka is undoubtedly one of the most popular starters dish in the Indian subcontinent, but have you ever heard of tricolor paneer tikka? Sounds interesting, right?

Considering the popularity of paneer tikka among so many individuals across all ages, today I have got an amazing and unique recipe of tricolor paneer tikka for you all. You must try it at home, and I am sure you would love it!

The process might take some time, but trust me, it is all worth the efforts that you are going to put in!

With that, let’s look at what all you need to prepare to make this dish.

 

Follow the steps below to have the complete details of what you need to do to prepare Paneer Tikka.  

 

Preparation of green chutney

In a grinding pot, take ½ cup of coriander, ½ cup mint leaves, 1inch ginger, 3-4 green chilies, 1 teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon salt, and finally add some water to it. Grind the whole thing until the outcome is our delicious green chutney. Add lemon juice from half a lemon.

Preparation for green paneer tikka marinate

In a deep bowl, take 2 tablespoons of curd, 1 teaspoon gram flour, pinch of chat masala, ¼ teaspoon red chili powder, ¼ teaspoon garam masala and mix it all nicely. Now, pour the green chutney to this mixture and prepare the green marinate.

Next, put the pieces of panner in square size to the mixture and using a spoon spread the mixture all over the paneer pieces.

Preparation for white paneer tikka marinate

In a bowl, take 2 tablespoons of curd, 1 tablespoon cream, ½ teaspoon ginger paste, ¼ teaspoon garlic paste, salt as per your taste and preference, and finally still it all together. Add 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour for proper binding.

Now once you mix it properly, add 2 tablespoons of cashew powder to it and mix it with everything. Lastly, marinate the square pieces of paneer to the mixture and that’s it.

Preparation for orange paneer tikka marinate

Take 2 tablespoons of curd, salt according to taste, ½ teaspoon chat masala, 1 teaspoon garam masala, ½ teaspoon red chili powder, ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder and finally, 1 teaspoon of gram flour for perfect binding of everything.

Mix it all until it becomes a thick paste and then add ½ teaspoon ginger paste, ½ teaspoon garlic paste, 1 teaspoon kasoori methi, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, and mix it with all with the paste.

In the end, marinate the square paneer pieces with mixture and you are done!

In the last step, take a pan with some oil, heat it for some time and one by one, put the pieces of paneer from each of the three categories that is the green, white and orange paneer tikka and fry them for some time.
