Pizza is something that needs no introduction to be honest. People try to make pizza at home, some people succeed and some people fail at it, but the fact is if you love cooking, then once in your lifetime you must have tried to make pizza at home.

There can be many reasons why people couldn’t make the best of pizza at home, but today I am going to show you how you can make a pizza without having a microwave oven at home!

So, without wasting more time, lets see how to do this! Follow the steps and the recipe below and get the best results.

 

Preparation for pizza sauce

For tawa pizza, first we will prepare pizza sauce. For that, in a pan, add 1 tablespoon butter, 2 teaspoons chopped garlic, and fry it until its color changes to light brown. Next add 1 teaspoon oil, 4 chopped onions, and fry it until the onions turn transparent.

Now, add 4 chopped tomatoes, salt as per your taste and preference, ½ teaspoon sugar, 1 cup of tomato puree, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon mixed herbs, 1 teaspoon chili flakes, ¼ cup of water and cook it all for a few minutes.

After a while it will be ready!

Preparation for pizza dough

In a bowl, take 4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda and a pinch of oregano. Mix it all nicely and add 2 tablespoons of oil to it. Add some water periodically to knead a soft dough.

Once the dough is ready, put some oil on it and knead it once again. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Preparation for the pizza

Using the rolling bin and board, roll or make the base of the pizza from the dough which we have prepared earlier. Dock the base with a fork, so that the base does not puff up.

Now, take a pan, apply some butter on its surface and then put the base in it. Next, spread the pizza sauce all over the base nicely. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on it, some small sized finely sliced onions, capsicums, corn, olives, oregano, chili flakes, and finally cook the whole thing in the pan for a while.

Apply some butter on the sides of the pan and continue to cook until the base becomes crispy and brownish in color.

That’s it! That’s how the homemade tawa pizza is prepared without any need of oven.
